Ghana Link

Stutton School is very lucky to have a link with Ghana, which is in Africa.
Most children in the school have a pen pal, who they write to. Some times we have a theme to write about e.g pets , Christmas and sport. But sometimes we can write about the things we want to write about
Visitors from Ghana
Sometimes a teacher from Balogu primary school comes, (the school that Stutton School write to), and they stay for 2 -4 weeks. They teach classes and it gives us opportunities to ask questions about lots of things in Ghana. One time we had a Ghanaian prince, (Mr Adam).
Work sent to Ghana and work sent back
Stutton School and Balogu also send work to each other that we do in class.We always have fun reading the work they send. It is mostly about the school how we live and things that are happening were we are living.
Music between schools
Mrs Hewlett a teacher at Sutton and Ian Haywood a music teacher did a song called Ghana to England, witch we sent on a C.D to Balogu Primary. They did a song called African Child and sang our song Ghana to England too. We have got the songs on a C.D, and the song Ghana tot England was played on Big Toe Radio Show.
