Stutton Community Council was founded in 1974 to provide “adequate recreational facilities, playing fields, playgrounds, community centres and other amenities for the benefit of residents residing in Stutton”.

The Community Council’s first achievement was to raise funds to build the “new” Community Hall. More recently the Council has given grants to Playgroup, Stutton Grows and other village organisations, and we have helped provide the Hall with new tables, chairs and provided match-funding for its grant applications. We also run Table Tennis and Rounders and hold many fun and fund-raising events throughout the year, including the popular Puffin Wind Ensemble concert held annually in the grounds of Bay Tree Farm.
